Which processor is better? Difference Between Intel Core i3,i5 & i7 Processors.

This is a very old topic of comparison on those processors. Intel core i3, i5, i7 processors have been for a while in the market with some features in high end performance and the boosting technology with the computer user. But for every user there remains confusion about these processor terms. If we think that core i7 has seven cores or the core i5 core has 3 cores, then that will be wrong. These term names i5, i7 are given according to their relative processing speed or powers. But the processors have their own field in which they are best performers.
Let’s have look on each processor separately.

Core i3

  • This is an entry level core processor.
  • It has the clock speed in the range of 2.93-3.06 GHz.
  • There are two cores and all cores are dual core processors.
  • It has integrated graphics processor but it’s maximum clock speed has been  restricted in the range of 1100 MHz.
  • All three cores have 3 MB of cache memory in i3.
But it has lack of turbo boosting, overclocking, AES encryption technologies. If you are focusing on the cheapest processor as Intel core i3 is the best suitable and sufficient for almost every task.

Core i5

  • This is a middle range dual core processor.
  • It has 4 MB of cache memory & 32 nm fabrication.
  • The clock speed in it is in the range of 3.2 to 3.6 GHz for the dual cores.
  • It is very stable for hyper threading similar to i3 processor.
  • It also supports Turbo boost technology.
  • Quad core i5 processors are very much close to the i7 features.

If you are look for a computer for fast performance with excellent battery backup and have the turbo boosting technology, then i5 is the best in this range.

Core i7
  • It has total 4 numbers of cores.
  • It has the clock speed in the range of 1.06 to 3.20GHz.
  • All the cores have the cache memory of 8 MB.
  • It Supports Turbo-boosting Technology, Super hyper-threading features
  • It has 32-45 nm silicon fabrication (produce less heat and energy).
If you are ignoring the amount of price, you want the best performance from your computer in all fields, and then i7 is the best among the three.

Let’s have a look on the comparison on the three processors.
Comparison

So finally we can come to the conclusion that the comparison is totally dependent on the user. It is considered about our work field.
